About Cheap Smut

Katie and her husband Maxx Joy are Smutco Industries. Together, they create Cheap Smut, a podcast for people who would never let anyone see their Kindle library. Each week, Katie explains the plot of a cheap, smutty book ($4.99 or less) to Maxx, who has little to no idea what the book is about.

Episode 126 - Abducted by Moonlight

Another week, another massive upheaval in the Smutco Industries household (not to mention Maxx's allergies...sorry for the coughing), but we're soldiering on! We're revisiting a favorite author of ours (Petra Palerno) for another one of her delightfully unhinged monsterfucker tales; this time, it's Abducted by Moonlight (https://www.amazon.com/Abducted-Moonlight-Palernos-Filthy-Shorts-ebook/dp/B0G3YHXRYH?crid=17YKZ5JA2YTZ8&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.kfiYLPuAheWr3b5s0fiS5Ljv83kp53PeHBC9FVWQOW0Jd2pGiC9zidgi64FKVkEAotJGYNVkXa0AQtAawdXkNBcnJCJx1a1_UjEZ8lZtdR-en_Z6d3pQdzqkyoC9j9ao4NvYAuRB_TOqmNE4zRwmirtXDK2bQRZ_aj5kWBx8xRuH-HH3vGK9JZmPJw3lP3DtZH1jl4FFw4xds37du5GuSLcXAVPyLyRkgo3isBF2gec.F2-ywuNbIelz5HU_67Ub1qXckYKYZCyT2WSDSXOSHWI&dib_tag=se&keywords=abducted+by+moonlight&qid=1791325626&sprefix=abducted+by+moonlight%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-1), the perfect confluence of werewolves, aliens, and Omega vibes! This episode marks the introduction of chapters (hopefully...let me know if they don't work), because we spend 20 minutes spilling tea and giving life updates at the top of the show, but if that's not your vibe, skip right ahead to where we start the recap! Sign up at the Cheap Smut Live Tour 2027 Kickstarter pre-launch page! (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1351331738/cheap-smut-live-tour-2027) Book Description A werewolf stalks his newly found human mate in the forest when a UFO abducts them both. What happens when the alien tries to stake a claim on her as well? Abducted by Moonlight is part of the smutty novella collection, Petra Palerno’s Filthy Shorts, that feature otherworldly love interests. In this edition you’ll find alien & monster romance, size difference, why choose, group scenes, abduction, FMM, sword crossing, and a plus-sized FMC. Triple T's (Triggers, Tropes, and Titllations) TRIGGERS: Abandonment, alien abduction, confinement, fighting, heights, hiking, survival and outdoor urination, kidnapping, knives & daggers, space travel, sequences of body horror/werewolf transformation. TROPES: FMM Cis-het romance ft fat woman, a werewolf, and an alien warrior, alien abduction, fated mates but there’s more this time, fully-shifted werewolf, Liam Neeson’s worst nightmare. (How many times can one poor bitch get taken?) TITILLATIONS: Explicit sexual contact, mutual masturbation, oral, vaginal, anal, and group sex sequences, knotting, primal chasing, aphrodisiac mushroom spores, unique anatomy, virgin MMC. Episode 125 - Live at Romancing Portland 2026

We have a very special episode for everyone this week, because LAST weekend, Katie and Maxx hung out in Portland, Oregon and did a live episode at Romancing Portland 2026! They were joined by authors Emily Rath (https://www.emilyrathbooks.com/) (Pucking Around), S.A. MacLean (https://authorsamaclean.com/) (Beasts of the Void duology), and honorary Smutco Industries Intern, Lauren Devora (https://www.gwendolynharperbooks.com/) (who is not only an author, but a co-host of the In Our Ears (https://open.spotify.com/show/0V3cK5UH1VAb1c0BdzCxni) podcast, a show about the world of audio erotica). No book descriptions or Triple T's for this one, because Katie presented a Funbag of three short stories, but with a twist: one of the books is made up by Katie, and our guests have to guess which one that is. As such, we also aren't posting the book information in the show notes, so YOU can play along as well! Katie mentions the titles at the end, so you'll be able to track them down! We are going on tour in 2027! Help us make it amazing and fill out our survey (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfy4tf0ln7u4xZAc-d3CZopSrgJrmthr_5wYqDM8TYkBQT2qA/viewform)! Only takes a few minutes, and it is anonymous! Our Linktree (https://linktr.ee/cheapsmut) Music: "Storytime" by Maxx Joy ★ Support this podcast ★ (https://ko-fi.com/smutcoindustries)
