The Chicago Sky are 6-13, but are they finally starting to figure things out? 💙💛

On this episode of Chicago Sky Central, Haize & Stevo break down the biggest questions surrounding the Sky’s season: Can DiJonai Carrington’s return help turn things around? Did the front office gamble too much by signing injured players? Is Kamilla Cardoso officially becoming the franchise cornerstone? And should fans still feel encouraged after the Sky’s 107-99 loss to the Las Vegas Aces?

Chicago’s season has been frustrating, confusing, and injury-filled. The Sky waited on key players like Courtney Vandersloot, Azurá Stevens, and DiJonai Carrington, lost leading scorer Rickea Jackson to a season-ending ACL injury, and started the year struggling to find offensive consistency. But lately, the signs of progress are hard to ignore.

Kamilla Cardoso has taken a major leap, averaging 21.8 points and 9.4 rebounds on 75% shooting over her last five games, including a historic perfect shooting night against Portland and a strong 24-point performance against A’ja Wilson and the Aces. Chicago’s offense has also surged, with the Sky becoming one of the league’s top offenses over the recent stretch.

Now the question becomes: Can Carrington’s defense, leadership, and toughness help the Sky complete the turnaround?

Haize & Stevo discuss:

🔥 Can DiJonai Carrington save the Sky season?
🛡️ Why Carrington’s wing defense matters so much
🤔 Did Jeff Pagliocca gamble too much on injured players?
🏥 How Rickea Jackson’s injury changed everything
👑 Kamilla Cardoso’s star-level breakout
📈 Why the Sky offense is suddenly dangerous
💙 Courtney Vandersloot’s impact on the offense
🎯 Sydney Taylor proving she belongs
💪 Azurá Stevens finding her rhythm
⚠️ Why the Aces loss still showed progress
🏀 How Chicago won the paint and rebounding battle
🧠 What Tyler Marsh still needs to fix defensively

The Sky may be near the bottom of the standings, but the recent development of Cardoso, the return of Vandersloot, the growth of Sydney Taylor, and the eventual return of Carrington could still make Chicago a dangerous team down the stretch.

Is the Sky season still salvageable, or did they find their formula too late?

Tap in with Chicago Sky Central, your home for Chicago Sky news, rumors, reactions, game breakdowns, and WNBA analysis with Haize & Stevo.

The Chicago Sky are now 3-5 after losing four straight games at home, and frustration is starting to rise inside the locker room.

On this episode of Chicago Sky Central, Haize & Stevo break down what is going wrong for the Sky after another rough loss to the Minnesota Lynx. Chicago has shown flashes on both sides of the ball, but the Sky have not been able to put together complete games. One night the offense scores 104 points but the defense gives up 111. The next game, the defense holds Minnesota under 80, but the offense fails to reach 60.

The biggest issue? The Sky cannot buy a three-pointer.

Chicago is shooting just 24.7% from three, dead last in the WNBA. Rachel Banham, the team’s best shooter, is struggling through a career-low shooting stretch, and even when the Sky are generating open looks, the shots are not falling. Add in 18 turnovers against Minnesota, injuries to Rickea Jackson and Gabriela Jaquez, Azurá Stevens still being on a minutes restriction, and the roster being squeezed thin, and this team is officially facing its first major crisis of the season.

Haize & Stevo discuss:

🚨 Sky fall to 3-5
🏠 Four straight home losses
😬 Locker room frustration rising
🎯 Chicago’s league-worst three-point shooting
💥 18 turnovers against the Lynx
🏥 Injuries crushing the rotation
👀 Azurá Stevens still working back
🔥 Sydney Taylor’s career-high 11-point bright spot
📉 Tyler Marsh needing answers fast
🧭 Can the Sky stop the slide on the road?

The Sky started 3-1 and looked like one of the early surprise teams in the WNBA. Now they are 3-5, injured, inconsistent, and searching for answers.

Is this just early-season adversity, or is this roster already showing its biggest flaw?

Tap in with Chicago Sky Central, your #1 home for everything Chicago Sky related.

#ChicagoSky #WNBA #ChicagoSkyCentral #RachelBanham #SydneyTaylor #AzuráStevens #TylerMarsh #KamillaCardoso #SkylarDiggins #ChicagoSports
