Bizden Biri: Polis komiseri Tayfun Karameşe
Dedesi Almanya'ya maden işçisi olarak geldi, babası mühendis oldu, kendisi ise bugün Duisburg Emniyet Müdürlüğü'nün en önemli isimlerinden biri. 1985'te Krefeld'de doğan Tayfun Karameşe, çocukluk hayalini gerçekleştirerek, 2014 yılında polis teşkilatına katıldı. Yedi yıl devriye polisi olarak görev yaptıktan sonra Duisburg emniyetinde Kültürler ve Dinlerarası İrtibat Görevlisi oldu. Dernekler, vakıflar, dini cemaatler ve farklı topluluklar ile güvenlik güçleri arasında köprü kuran Karameşe, hayat hikâyesini ve mesleki deneyimlerini COSMO Türkçe'den Aydın Işık'a anlattı.

Almanya'da günde 13 saat çalışma tartışması
Almanya’da 100 yılı aşkın süredir işçi haklarının en önemli sembollerinden biri olarak görülen 8 saatlik iş günü yeniden tartışmaya açıldı. Federal Hükümet, değişen çalışma hayatına uyum sağlamak amacıyla günlük çalışma sınırı yerine haftalık azami 48 saatlik esnek bir modele geçmek istiyor. Hedef; çalışanlara daha fazla özgürlük ve şirketlere daha fazla rekabet gücü sağlamak. Ancak sendikalar bu değişikliğin yalnızca teknik bir düzenleme olmadığını, işçi sağlığı ve çalışma koşullarında tarihi bir geri dönüşe yol açabileceğini savunuyor. Reform teorik olarak günde 13 saate kadar çalışmanın önünü açabilecek, bu da tükenmişlikten iş kazalarına kadar pek çok riski beraberinde getirebilir.
