[…] Smotrich and his people have basically said those lines aren't real. And so they are going off and building anywhere they want across the West Bank. There are people in the Israeli political landscape who believe that they should basically be sticking to area C, which to be clear is still over 60% of the West Bank. And then the other thing is just the outpost movement, which is an outpost is a settlement that is not even authorized by Israel. So it is basically like a band of settlers go out, violently empty a Palestinian Bedouin community or something, plant a tent there, and decide this is a settlement now. […]
