<p><strong>W lutym kondycja to condicio sine qua non</strong></p> <p> Jedni humaniści piszą uczenie, że „stosowność to <em>warunek sine qua non</em> kompetencji komunikacyjnej”, a prof. Albert Gorzkowski, m.in. znawca literatury polsko-łacińskiej, że „konstrukcja <em>warunek sine qua non</em> jest niepoprawną hybrydową (łacińsko-polską) kontaminacją powstałą w wyniku skrzyżowania wyrażeń: <em>condicio sine qua non</em> oraz <em>warunek konieczny</em> (nieodzowny); niepoprawną także z tego względu, że rzeczownik warunek jest w języku polskim rodzaju męskiego, zaś łac. <em>qua</em> to narzędnik rodzaju żeńskiego zaimka <em>quae</em> ‘która’. W języku łacińskim konstrukcja jest oczywista, ponieważ rzeczownik <em>condicio</em> ‘warunek’ posiada rodzaj żeński, a następujący potem przyimek <em>sine</em> ‘bez’ łączy się zawsze z ablatiwem, stąd forma <em>qua</em>. Nie będzie więc, moim zdaniem, puryzmem, stwierdzenie, że mamy do czynienia z podwójnym błędem językowym: gramatycznym (na poziomie składni) oraz leksykalnym (na poziomie frazeologicznym)”. Tak, <em>condicio</em>, nie <em>conditio</em>.</p> <p>Zatem jeśli już chcemy sobie i swoim odbiorcom podarować trochę snobizmu, to mówmy i piszmy w całości po łacinie <em>condicio sine qua non</em>.</p>
