There's there's people who are and and there's good research on a lot of these things to arguing both sides. So I understand, you know, if you're steeped in one particular set of studies, you'll come to that. conclusions that that pushes you towards. And if you're steeped in a different set of studies, maybe you'll come to a different set of conclusions. I get that. The reality is fluency matters. Understanding your math facts matters because when you are trying to add numbers in your head, when you're trying to multiply numbers in your head, when you're trying to do math in your head, it takes up cognitive resources.
