I have made mistakes, laughed, and cried along my parenting journey with my dyslexic daughter. I spent so much time on internet searches and social media, trying to figure it all out — how to get our daughter tested for dyslexia, where to find the right remediation, what accommodations work for her, when and how to tell her she was dyslexic, and how to protect her self-esteem through it all.
