Anyone who studied the French and Indian War, his role in it knows that he made decisions that led to a number of deaths and you know, some very controversial moves. And I think, you know, I mean, we could be honest and say that he screwed things up. I mean, he had a horrible defeat at the Battle of Fort Necessity. And I think all of that, plus his later experience, his administrative experience during that time before the Revolutionary War, I think that really turned him into a very judicious, sober-minded leader.
