[…] And then my aunt lived about 15 or 20 minutes away. So very close, huge support system, willing to do anything and everything to help with the baby, which was just amazing. And I can acknowledge, I'm not ignorant to the fact that everyone doesn't have that family support, but for those who could find a good church community or a community where they identify, I really do think having support in the postpartum process is truly important in addition to the spiritual. so we continued with the spiritual so i will say we even went to church relatively quickly not like the first or second week but we definitely went back to church relatively quickly continued to meditate on our scriptures listen to the word and pray over her but it's a whole it's a process of feeling normal again and feeling yourself again and all of these things that happened after you have the baby, making sure she's sleeping and eating and doing the breastfeeding and the pumping and all of these things were going on.
