Communities, Families, and Interrupting Violence with Lee Davis
<p>We start the New Year with inspiration as NFSTAC’s Lachelle Freeman speaks to <strong>Lee Davis</strong>: entrepreneur, organizer, mentor, and advocate making a significant difference in his community.</p> <p>Lee and Lachelle discuss community engagement, collective impact and giving back to communities. Lee also shares his own lived experience -- from self-described “project kid” to coming full circle today as a changemaker in his own community and why.</p> <p>Professionally, Davis is Co-owner/President of SLG Sports & Ent., CEO of Lee Davis & Associates Consulting LLC. And President of Sports Marketing Firm (Atlanta/Pittsburgh). However, he’s more widely known as an icon for his work uplifting and empowering youth, families, and the community. Davis is Co-founder of “A Hand Up” LLC (Workforce Development initiative) and co-founded the Woodland Hills School District’s Commission on Youth Affairs and The Kid Nation Foundation. He serves on the boards of HOMEWOOD HOMES (Transitional Living Houses) and The Allegheny Co. Homicide Review.
