Let’s Make Volunteering Hot (and go viral)
<p>Today, we informally talk about informal volunteering. If you are not someone who is steeped in the nonprofit or volunteer engagement world, how do you organize to do something good in your community? Travis Doobay, Chef, wanted to do just that. Learn the challenges he faced, why he changed his mind about bureaucracy in nonprofits, why support and resources for anyone who is trying organize volunteers is vital and other lessons learned on his quest to organize a community clothes drive. At the end of the day, he encourages us to “share our light”, enough for it to become a bonfire and wants to make “volunteering hot” and I am all about it.</p><p> </p><p>Contact:</p><p>Linkedin </p><p><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/travis-doobay-836666232/" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.linkedin.com/in/travis-doobay-836666232/</a></p><p> </p><p>Resources:</p><p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Wonder-Drug-Scientifically-Medicine-Yourself/dp/B09GC5ZMP7/ref=sr_1_1?crid=226DKLBK6PCMH&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DpJWYq84wE2bEPNRRTkZx5oXpmwsL_nZSVfIAkYiO24L-SJTKPCaFTHzAhNVwBqV.UmZvwbGjaZa3eHu0KWKJdDyfvwbrqWYuJS_tMqPRVeU&dib_tag=se&keywords=wonder+drug+by+stephen+trzeciak+and+anthony+mazzarelli&nsdOptOutParam=true&qid=1779306384&sprefix=wonder+drug%2Caps%2C284&sr=8-1" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Wonder Drug</a></p>
