[…] John is preserved not just for what's on the land, but also for what's in the water. So snorkeling was imperative in order to be able to engage with like why this place is a national park, because a lot of the reason for preserving it is underwater. So we were really excited that we got to do that. yeah so knowing that we wanted to do a lot of snorkeling we were actually able to find a great hotel right in cruise bay that offered cruise bay is sort of where you would come in to saint john from saint thomas via the ferry we had a different means of transportation to get to the island which we'll talk about in a minute but we were able to find a really great hotel that was very central that had snorkel gear that was just free to use for as long as you were staying Because that was something we knew, A, we really wanted to do, but B, like in order to, like Dusty said, engage with the park in the way that it, you know, kind of needs to be engaged.
