Ep 1: Mr. Gaiser tells his story - Prep Class of 1998, Athlete at Duke University, Professional Musician, & Prep Teacher
In the inaugural Episode of the GP Performance Podcast, Mr. Gaiser tells his life story from being a shy freshman at Prep, to becoming an NCAA Division 1 swimmer at Duke University, and, eventually, recognizing that he only wanted to pursue one thing: music. As a professional musician, Mr. Gaiser has toured the country playing shows, headlined the 9:30 club (multiple times), and recorded over a dozen albums. Mr. Gaiser talks about the importance of doing what you love and never being afraid to pivot if you recognize what you are doing isn't fulfilling. Ultimately, Mr. Gaiser's life story demonstrates what it takes to perform — self-reflection, pivoting, making sacrifices, and being social — all while always remaining open to growth and trying new things.
