Meet Christian Juhl the 26 year old actor in LA paying off $80,000 worth of debt
In today's episode of The Getting Out of Debt Show, I sit down with @ChristiantJuhl, an actor based in Los Angeles with more than 28,000 followers on Instagram, who is on a mission to pay off $82,000 of debt.
Like so many people, Christian did everything he thought he was supposed to do. He went to college, financed a reliable car, and eventually bought a home. But after taking a closer look at his finances, he realized that most of his minimum monthly payments were going straight toward interest—not building wealth. He decided he was done working for the banks.
Now, Christian is attacking his student loans, car loan, and credit card debt with a clear plan, a budget, and a determination to take back control of his financial future.
In this conversation, we talk about:
How Christian accumulated $82,000 of debt
The mindset shift that motivated him to make a change
His budgeting strategy and debt payoff plan
How he's balancing life as an actor while aggressively paying down debt
Why becoming debt-free is giving him more freedom and peace of mind
This was one of my favorite conversations I've recorded so far. Christian brings an incredible attitude, shares practical advice, and explains his debt payoff strategy in a way that's easy to follow.
Whether you're just starting your debt-free journey or looking for extra motivation, this episode is one you won't want to miss.

How Tori paid off $47,000 worth of debt by age 25
In this episode of The Getting Out of Debt Show, I'm joined by Tori Talks Finance, an up-and-coming personal finance creator who paid off $47,000 in student loans and car debt by the age of 25.
Like so many people, Tori took on debt to get what many of us see as a basic head start in life—a college education and a reliable car. But she quickly realized she didn't want debt controlling her future. Through living below her means, making intentional financial decisions, and consistently throwing extra money at her loans, she became completely debt-free.
We dive into the mindset shifts, strategies, and habits that helped her pay off $47,000 while still in her mid-20s. Along the way, we also have some fun discussing renting vs. buying a home, share a few personal stories, and talk about the financial choices that shaped both of our journeys.
If you're overwhelmed by debt, wondering where to start, or just looking for motivation from someone who's been in your shoes, this episode is packed with practical advice and proof that becoming debt-free is possible.

Tiffany's Debt Payoff Journey
Today I'm joined by Tiffany, better known as Debt to Wealth Story. Between Instagram and Facebook, she's built a community of more than 10,000 followers by sharing her journey to financial freedom.
Unlike many debt payoff stories, Tiffany didn't have one dramatic "aha!" moment that changed everything overnight. Instead, her mindset shifted gradually throughout her 20s and 30s as she realized just how much debt was limiting the life she wanted to live.
In this episode, Tiffany shares how she accumulated credit card debt, student loans, and car loans—and how she and her husband worked together to eliminate them one by one. Today, they're just a few years away from paying off their home and becoming completely debt-free.
We also discuss how debt delayed their ability to invest, build wealth, and create financial freedom.
Through years of consistency and intentional decisions, Tiffany has put herself in a position where work is becoming optional—a goal many of us aspire to achieve.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by debt or looking for motivation to stay the course, Tiffany's story is proof that lasting financial freedom doesn't require perfection—it requires persistence.
I hope her journey inspires you as much as it inspired me. Enjoy the episode!

Ginny is reselling her way out of $250,000 of debt!
Ginny is an absolute inspiration, she like many of us ended up in debt mainly from student loans and the typical suspects car loans and personal loans.
Just a few months ago she felt hopeless because her minimum payments were taking up all of her monthly income and there was no end in sight. That was until her and her husband decided to do something about it.
They got organized and picked up side hustles, one of which is thrifting and reselling, which is helping her make extra debt payments to the tune of $1,000 a month.
Now Ginny is paying off debt and has a target date in mind for being completely debt free in 5 years or less.
Here is her story, I hope it can inspire you!
