[…] And that's with Merced County Sheriff's department. Uh, and we take partnership with the district attorney's office and some of the schools throughout Merced. And this program was important to me because I believe education in schools when it comes to drug use is paramount. And I started that earlier with, you know, we had DARE, you heard of the DARE program that really has kind of went away. You don't have a lot of people in the schools teaching substance abuse. And that was my passion throughout most of my career. I always look forward to Red Ribbon Week, getting out there, talking to the kids. […]
