Today, the LaLaurie Mansion stands as one of the most haunted and infamous buildings in the French Quarter. Though privately owned and not open to the public, it remains a focal point on ghost tours, drawing visitors intrigued by its dark history. Of course, the square wasn't always this bustling with energy and, as a result, some claim the famed cathedral is haunted by the spirits of clergy who once walked these streets.
