About Hero's Blade Vibe Check, an EDH and MTG Podcast
Welcome to Hero's Blade Vibe Check, where we talk about Commander/Elder Dragon Highlander & Magic. We chat about recent & future events, games & deck brews, new cards, articles & gameplay videos, & if your Commander passes the Vibe Check! (also, pop culture media that we've been dabbling in).
We're Cole (he/him, @TheBloodricGuy on Bluesky, editor) & Empress Quinn (fae/faer, @girldickenergy on Bluesky, composer), joining forces to chat about things we love & adore in Magic the Gathering. Let's hang out & enjoy the vibes.

Life Insurance Fraud Never Looked So Good - HBVC Radio Ep 76
Well, that was weird...anyway, we swept up the glass, but mind your step.
Cole and Quinn are back for another episode! Vibes Based Story Telling will be done at a future date. Hungry girls are discussed. Cole watches some season finales. Quinn pleads with chat to experience The World Ends With You. Old faces hit the command zone again, familiar faces from Reality Fracture are discussed, and mids from the same set are talked about with Lenny and Quinn in the Mids Dimension.

Carcinization: The Evolutionary Pressures of Commander - HBVC Radio Ep 75
Aka: Lyght Phones It In. Aka Three Big Guys Carcinization.
Reality remains stable in this episode of Hero's Blade Vibe Check. Lyght's returned from Commander Sealed and also plays some friendslop. Medusa's going to be more serious about cosplay, while defeating nemeses in Middle Earth. JD Earthmother blesses us with some poetry. Commander has evolved with the Three Big Guys Theory. Finally, stop complaining about new cards! Medusa and Lenny return to Smoking Mids and winge about sphinxes.
