Hoe lang houd je vast aan je idealen? Ten koste van wat? In de podcastserie Het Ultimatum onderzoekt Robin de Wever de affaire rond 23 verspreiders van verzetskrant Trouw. Zij werden in ’43 en ’44 opgepakt. Tijdens hun gevangenschap in Kamp Vught ontving de redactie een briefje dat een ultimatum stelde: stop met het verspreiden van de krant, anders zullen 23 medewerkers het met hun leven moeten bekopen.
