[…] And all I really could think about was my children because they were only two and four and a half. And I just wanted to be the best mother that I could be to them and wanted to be around to see their milestones. And it was a really scary time. But the FDA had just approved a medication three months ago. Reier to my diagnosis in 2015. And my oncologist didn't have anyone on it yet, but she said, do you want to be aggressive and try this new treatment? And of course I did because I had these. And that is really why I'm such a believer in funding research, continuing to fund the pipeline and Because here it was, this was approved by the FDA just three months before diagnosis. […]
