Now Prime Minister in your speech back in July you said on this, no company should use Australian books, music, art or news to build or train AI without the artist's control. Anything less is theft. Is that still your position? Absolutely. And that's our position. And what's more, that statement was welcomed by many of the companies that are involved in development. But some of those companies, the big two, OpenAI and Anthropic, want those copyright laws watered down. Well, we think that the protection of the creative sector is very important and we're engaged constructively. […]
