<p>Jónas A. Aðalsteinsson tók síðastliðið haust við stöðu prófessors við læknadeild Háskóla Íslands og yfirlæknis húð- og kynsjúkdóma á Landspítala. Jónas sérhæfði sig í húðlækningum við University of Connecticut School of Medicine og lauk jafnframt sérnámi í húðmeinafræði frá Mount Sinai í New York. Kristborg Bóel Steindórsdóttir ræddi við Jónas í Læknavarpinu þar sem hann sagði frá námsárunum í Bandaríkjunum, rannsóknum sínum og fyrstu skrefunum í nýju starfi.</p>

<p>Adam Erik Bauer réttarefnafræðingur hefur starfað á rannsóknarstofu lyfja- og eiturefnafræði Háskóla Íslands frá árinu 2018. Þar vinnur hann nú að doktorsverkefni sínu en markmið þess er að skoða leiðir til þess að meta nýjungar og breytingar á íslenskum fíkniefnamarkaði og nota þær upplýsingar í þágu lýðheilsu. </p>

<p>Alma Glóð Kristbergsdóttir er sérnámsgrunnlæknir á Landspítala. Leið hennar að læknisfræðinni er í senn óhefðbundin og heillandi. Það var undir lok menntaskóla sem hún áttaði sig á því hvert hugurinn stefndi, hana langaði til þess að hjálpa fólki. Það var svo tveggja mánaða dvöl í Kenýa sem veitti henni fullvissu um að stefnan væri rétt. Alma Glóð var gestur Læknavarpsins.</p>
