So if you look 150, 170 years ago, Billing is fixed in a very specific way that has to do with finite economies that are localized on matters that are relatively predictable and have a certain degree of not outcome certainty, but process certainty, right? So what's slowing down cases is geographical change, not the kind of localized services that attorneys are delivering. And there's this really common philosophical opinion that you should not be sort of productizing and only focusing on the business side of your law firm. […]
