[…] Well, I think certainly the process of writing the book and thinking about all these issues about emotional distance, that has certainly changed how I parented and making a real commitment to be present for my son and also trying to be emotionally present when I'm physically present, which is difficult. I think we've all had experience and I have not nailed it. when he was growing up. So he's in college now. The memoir stops when he's, I think, 13. There were times when he was living here that I would find myself sort of, he'd be talking to me and I'd be thinking about work or something. So I definitely still have work to do on that front. […]
