<p>Welcome back to the 3rd episode of the Lord Byng Music Podcast, a podcast created entirely by students of Lord Byng Secondary School.</p><p>For today, we've brought a special guest for an exclusive interview: Dr. Scott Maclennan, an accomplished and well-respected band director, musician, and mentor that finished his teaching career at Byng just last year in 2022. Both the interview and commentary is performed by Marcus Chao, a student at Byng.</p><p>Come join us as he talks about his thoughts and experiences throughout his teaching career, his favourite memories at the school, as well as tips for any students in the Byng band program. </p><p>Alongside, this episode also features a special piece dedicated to Dr. Maclennan, performed by the Senior Wind Ensemble: Salute in Swing: for Scott by Alan Matheson.</p>
