<p>In this episode, Kierra and Nic tackle the difficult and sensitive subject of our relationships with food. Connections are made to attachment styles to help us understand how different people form different relationships with food but also how they are impacted socially and culturally. Kierra and Nic share some of their personal experiences with food and how each of their relationships with food were impacted by their childhood environments. They discuss diet culture, clothing, labeling foods, listening to body cues regarding hunger, and issues surrounding body image. Whether its a friendship, romantic relationship, co-worker, or family member, unhealthy relationships can have detrimental effects of your self-esteem and sense of self. In this episode, Nic and Kierra explore what happens to our mental health when we are in toxic relationships and how to identify some of the signs of unhealthy relationships.
