Out & about in Marbella with PJ and Hannah, who are a married couple that have lived on the Costa del Sol for over 20 years. PJ is a digital marketer with a passion for cooking and Hannah is a radio, TV presenter and popular ’quiz mistress’. Together they love to travel, EAT, socialise and explore the delights of this wonderful part of Spain.
It is another episode of the popular Marbella podcast presented by expat couple PJ Lopez @pjlopez1marbella and Hannah Murray @radiohannah called Marbella with Him & Her. Each week they bring you the latest information about San Pedro de Alcantara and Marbella as well as a light hearted review of what they have been up to during the week.
They start with a correction from the previous week's episode about the breed of dog their friend’s Frank and Steph have which they incorrectly called long haired Chihuahua.
Hannah shares some supermarket packing knowledge and details of the man she met in the supermarket carpark. If that sounds intriguing then you need to listen to see what she got up to.
Hannah’s Entrepreneur of the Week on her radio show was Emma Sayle, who created the hugely successful brand Killing Kittens, female driven 'sex parties' that was created for women to explore themselves sexually, in a safe space. They also discuss safe dating in the modern world.
Hannah helped her dad declutter during the week, so they discuss decluttering, and how satisfying it can be, and what an obsession it has become for Hannah.
On Friday night, PJ and Hannah attended a salsa class in Dance & Wear Station in San Pedro, that was run by Nicky and Tuti. Listed to see how they got on with the class. Afterwards they went to the other side of the square to try a couple of restaurants they have walked past before but never eaten in. Firstly, they had a chickpea and sausage stew in La Cocina de Abuela (Grandma's kitchen) before heading next door to a friederia called El Paso II. They had some very well priced fried fish and then an amazing torrija. Listen to hear more about the food and prices.
Saturday they were at a wedding in Casares where Brandon and Claudia were married. They also caught up with lots of friends they had not seen in a while. Find out how the wedding went and what they got up to.
This week's Euro Weekly News articles include a horrendous storm that caused a lot of damage and loss of life in Catalunya, a warning about washing your car just before taking it for an ITV inspection, and some statistics about how a paella can help heal an argument.
They also share some important dates for some local events coming up in San Pedro and Marbella such as a month long dance festival, the next ITS production of Four Old Broads, some information about the date of the annual United Nations Marbella event held by Nicole King, and a reminder about the San Pedro feria.

Marbella Classic Cars, Makai Beach, Tattoos & Sweets
Welcome to Marbella with Him & Her, your weekly Marbella lifestyle podcast presented by PJ Lopez @pjlopez1marbella and Hannah Murray @radiohannah. They are back to their normal routine after a couple of weeks of travel and visitors. In this episode we get an update on Hannah's new tattoos from Fat Cat Estepona and the strangely high price comparison in San Pedro.
Hannah was still working her way through her unpacking but managed to find time at the weekend to clear out her bathroom cupboards and put everything in order. They speak about their TV viewing through the week and give a couple of recommendations of things to watch.
On Friday they had plans to see their friends Frank and Steph who live near Riviera del Sol, right on the beach. PJ went to Cerrado del Aguilas Golf to play 9-holes (his first time on the golf course in over a year). While he was doing that, Hannah and Steph had a walk along the paseo before they all met up again in the evening to go for dinner in the stunning Makai Beach. Listen to hear more about the restaurant and what they chose to eat.
On the way back to San Pedro they stopped off at their favourite brunch location Remy, for some breakfast. They did not have their usual Eggs Benedict, so listen to find out what they had this time. Just before brunch they heard some jazz music playing in the pedestrian area of San Pedro town centre, so they went to investigate. There was a classic car exhibition taking place with some amazing classic cars from Jaguars and Mercedes, and even a classic Rolls Royce.
Saturday they were invited to Scandi Candy through the San Pedro Guide (@sanpedromarbellaguide) to film some content and get a bag of their amazing sweets. They talk about the back story of the shop and the owner and the types of sweets you can get including gluten free, sugar free and even vegan.
Saturday evening was the Urban Chai quiz, the first one after the summer break. Sunday, apart from a couple of chores, they were super excited about having a lazy day.
The also give some important updates such as the dates of the San Pedro Feria. They discuss some articles from the Euro Weekly News including some new traffic laws starting on the 1st October, a change in the dinner booking times in Spain, British Day in Estepona and the expected change in the weather during the week.
