<p>In their motel room, Hal has noticed that the water stain has turned into a familiar shape. Middle Miranda and the Man argue about Einstein’s relativity. Miranda appears and she suddenly figures out how she’s going to get home. Mei returns from her tryst with Grayson and she and Hal have a screaming match about how they treat each other, when they finally see what’s going on.</p> <p>Previously: Grayson begs his mother to help him change something about their circumstances. Young Grayson begs his mother not to come home again. <p>Grayson is at his wit’s end with his mother, but Miranda is trying to concentrate on finding a way back home. Grayson convinces his mother to get warm and rest. Young Grayson is at his wit’s end with his mother, and begs Middle Miranda not to come home from the institution. Mei finds her way to the motel lobby and entertains herself with Grayson. Middle Miranda pleads with her husband to protect Young Grayson.</p> <p>Previously: Hal and Mei argue about how things went at dinner, and Hal points out that the water stain looks like a human arm and hand.
