Fußball ist ein Barometer für gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen und menschliche Eigenschaften. Vor allem ist Fußball etwas, dem man sich nur schwer entziehen kann. Nur um den letzten Spieltag geht es den beiden Fußballiebhaber Maximilian Blom und Gottfried Haufe mit Mittelfeldgeplänkel dabei aber nicht. Vielmehr wollen sie ergründen, was das Spiel mit dem ”realen Leben” zu tun hat und was dessen Erfolg über uns alle aussagt: Wo überschneidet sich die Welt des Fußballs mit Politik, Geschichte, Soziokultur oder Literatur und Musik? Was können wir von der Psychologie von Leistungssportler:innen lernen? Und warum ist der Sport am Ende des Tages doch so erfolgreich, unabhängig von der großen Medienmaschinerie?! Einmal wöchentlich (dienstags) suchen Max und Gottfried nach Antworten auf diese und andere Fragen. Dabei kommen aber natürlich auch Kommentare auf den vorigen und den kommenden Spieltag nicht zu kurz.

Folge 133: Wir fliegen zum Abschluss.

Abschluss Staffel 5. Die Saison 2025/26 ist schon eine Weile vorbei. Jetzt ist WM, zumindest für die meisten. Wir halten es mit den Italienern und bleiben lieber zu Hause (bzw. weg vom Bildschirm). Stattdessen bringen wir euch zum Abschluss unserer 5. Staffel den Flyover zu Europa, ein ganz klein wenig auch zu den Regionalligen und zum FC Anker Wismar.   Das Standing Segment kommt zur neuen Saison zurück.   Hauptgeplänkel der Woche: Unser Rundflug.   Der FC Anker Wismar hatte einen guten Abschluss und wir freuen uns auf die neue Saison in der Verbandsliga.   Diskutiert mit uns darüber! Saisonanalyse Teil II/III. Wir hatten uns vorgenommen, die Saisonanalyse inklusive Auswertung unserer Stecktabellen der 1. und 2. Liga in einer Folge unterzubringen. Geht nicht, gibt zu viel zu sagen. Deswegen gibt es hier den zweiten Teil: Die 1. Bundesliga.
