<p>Am stat de vorbă cu astronomul <a href="https://sonkab.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer">Adrian Șonka</a> legat de cometa 3I/ATLAS, într-un moment în care internetul fierbe de teorii „creative”. Cea mai insistentă dintre ele: că nu ar fi o cometă, ci o navă extraterestră care se îndreaptă spre noi. Am luat genul acesta de povești pe rând – zece dintre cele mai răspândite zvonuri și fake news – și le-am trecut prin filtrul observațiilor reale și al fizicii, nu al TikTok-ului.</p><p>Discuția nu s-a oprit însă la demontat inepții. Am vorbit și despre lipsa de educație în astronomie, despre cum ajung oamenii să creadă orice „mister cosmic” ambalat suficient de spectaculos și despre ce înseamnă, concret, să privești o cometă cu mintea limpede: ce știm, ce nu știm încă și ce merită urmărit, dincolo de panica de serviciu și fanteziile cu OZN-uri.</p>
