Sein Weg in die Strategieberatung war nicht unbedingt klassisch: Noch während seines Psychologie Studiums in Münster und dem anschließenden Master an der Nova absolvierte er Praktika bei <strong>Batten & Co, Roland Berger, FINN, McKinsey und Bridgepoint -</strong> entschied sich am Ende aber für den <strong>Berufseinstieg bei McKinsey.</strong></p><p>Wir sprechen darüber, warum er sich für <strong>Psychologie</strong> entschieden hat, welche <strong>Karrierewege für Psychologen mit wirtschaftlichem Interesse</strong> offen stehen und wie er den Wechsel in die Wirtschaft geschafft hat. 26. Alexander Imberger über den SIM Master, Case Competitions und Praktika bei BCG und Trade Republic
<p><strong>Herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Folge des move Podcasts!</strong></p><p>Heute ist <strong>Alexander Imberger</strong> zu Gast – ein Münsteraner Alumnus mit internationaler Erfahrung sowohl im Consulting als auch im Banking.</p><p>Alexander hat seinen <strong>Bachelor in Münster</strong> absolviert und war dort nicht nur akademisch erfolgreich, sondern auch als <strong>Vorstand beim MBP </strong>und<strong></strong>bei<strong> Case Competitions</strong> aktiv. Wir sprechen über seine Erfahrungen in Münster, seine Lerntipps und sein Auslandssemester an der <strong>CBS in Kopenhagen</strong>.</p><p>Aktuell befindet sich Alexander im <strong>SIM-Programm</strong> an der <strong>Universität St. Gallen</strong> – ein Studiengang, der als einer der besten weltweit gilt. Wir beleuchten, warum er sich für St. Gallen entschieden hat, für wen der SIM besonders geeignet ist und wie sich das Studium dort im Vergleich zu Münster unterscheidet. Außerdem berichtet Alexander von seinem Auslandssemester an der <strong>NOVA in Lissabon</strong> – und ob dort wirklich so viele Deutsche studieren, wie man es oft hört.</p><p>Neben seinem Studium hat Alexander ein breites Spektrum an Praktika absolviert – von <strong>Horváth, BMC und BCG </strong>bis hin zu <strong>Trade Republic, Bertelsmann in New York und UBS </strong>im Bereich Sustainability.
