Season 6 Ep. 2 | Imagine Sisyphus Happy

The title of this episode says it all and it draws from the inspiration of countless one-liners and adages found in the experiences of our guest. Evan Chmieleski is much more than a "former MMA fighter". And he embodies the wisdom he has taken from his years of training and has applied it beyond the mat and out into the world.

The Fight For Tomorrow Martial Arts Academy

FB | https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100077485896703&sk=about

IG | https://www.instagram.com/the_fight_for_tomorrow/

Web | https://www.thefightfortomorrow.com/

Podcast | https://fightfortomorrowpodcast.podbean.com/

Here's more Evan:

Evan began training in 2008 to settle a bet about whether or not he could be an MMA fighter. Taking an amateur MMA fight 5 weeks after the first class he ever took, he found out first hand that he had a lot to learn.

Beginning strictly as an MMA athlete with more toughness and heart than technique and knowledge, his Mixed Martial Arts career, corporate career, and personal life have all had their share of ups and downs. Throughout the past 14 years, Evan has found value in the lessons he has learned through the martial arts. As his experience grew, he realized that the lessons learned through the martial arts are applicable in many situations encountered in both personal and professional life.

Evan’s goal for the Fight For Tomorrow Academy is to truly embody the philosophy that “the true way of the martial arts is to train so that these skills are useful at any time, and to teach these skills so that they will be useful in all things.”

Evan’s martial arts accomplishments include:

Black Belt in Japanese Jiu-jitsu (Shodan)

Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Locked in the Cage Bantamweight Champion

2016 Team USA - Combat Sambo International Presidents Cup Champion (63kg / 139lbs)

Competitor for CFFC (Cage Fury Fighting Championships), Ring of Combat, Locked in the Cage, XCC (Xtreme Caged Combat), F2W (Fight 2 Win grappling) and many other tournaments and events

Season 6 Ep. 1 | Allowing: The Subtle Art Behind Performance

And we are back! But not only are we back... we have evolved into a manlier, sillier, thic'er (??), and more thought provoking form!

And by that I mean, we have a new co-host -- Tony Ortiz. You'll get a snapshot of the dynamic to come at the beginning of this episode.

Buckle up because I surely am too.

Our incredible guest in this episode is Mike Aidala. It is a conversation on "allowing", learning who we really are, and breaking down the "should" -- what it is, why it exists, and how we mask our own fears of it.

At the 00:51:00 mark, Mike poses a challenge to list 30 things that you're curious about..! We hope it helps.

https://www.mikeaidala.com/

https://www.instagram.com/mike.aidala/

https://www.facebook.com/MASTmethod/

Season 5 Bonus Episode Pt. 2 with Preservation Health & LMA Mineral Float Spa
Vivi + Keith return to KORU Real Wellness. We get real in this episode by exploring how we can create a better world outside the float spa. Meet Vivi and Keith Sadel. Married for 28 years, they own and operate: Preservation Health, an internist practice dedicated to giving more TIME & ACCESS to their clients. They started off as a traditional medical practice and have since been moving in a more "concierge" model. This allows them to have more time with their patients. It is a change that is needed in medicine. To know your local Doctor, and him to have the time to get to know you, is unheard of at this point and time. Lma Mineral Float Spa, a spa below their medical practice that offers 2 different float experiences as well as a sauna. The benefits of mineral floats include: muscle relaxation, better sleep, decrease in pain, and decreased stress and anxiety.
