Murder/Kill/Antes Ep. 18 - Halloween III (Tommy Lee Wallace, 1982)
Happy Happy Halloween! Nachdem wir in den vergangenen Jahren bereits Halloween 1 und Halloween 2 unter die Lupe genommen haben, besprechen wir heute völlig überraschend keinen Film um Michael Myers - sondern Halloween 3! Was damals als Reboot der Reihe gedacht war und John Carpenter zuliebe den Mann mit der weiß angestrichenen Captain-Kirk-Maske in Vergessenheit geraten lassen sollte, gilt unter Fans der Reihe als kurioser Ausreißer. Böse Zungen sprechen auch vom Tiefpunkt der Reihe. Dabei wird es im weiteren Verlauf noch um einiges schlechter werden. Ein Meisterwerk ist der etwas unausgegorene Science-Fiction-Mystery-Horror-Mix aber trotzdem nicht geworden. Und das gruseligste an der heutigen Folge ist... Woody Allen?! Warum? Heute bei Murder/Kill/Antes!

Murder/Kill/Antes Ep. 17 - X (Ti West, 2022)
Heute ist wieder ein Slasher-Film dran, und dann auch noch ein relativ neuer. 2022 kam X heraus, über ein paar Amateurfilmer, die auf einem Bauernhof einen Porno drehen wollen - und Regisseur Ti West machte seine Sache so gut, dass ein Prequel bereits beschlossene Sache war, bevor die Dreharbeiten für X abgeschlossen waren. Zuletzt rundete auch noch eine Fortsetzung mit dem Titel Maxxxine die Trilogie ab. Grund genug, uns den ersten Film der Reihe mal vorzuknöpfen - heute bei Murder/Kill/Antes!
