[…] Because bikes are kind of weird when you have them stationary. They're like a pendulum from the axis of the ground to the top of the bike, right? Top of the bike being the moving part. and the axis being where the tires touch. But as you start rolling and as you go faster, that axis starts to move up the geometry of the bike. So what happens is you get this center pivot point that gets further away from the ground and causes the bike to move underneath you, right? So think about if you're leaning the bike into a corner, your tires have to go out first in order for you to fall into the inside of the corner to come around it. […]
