Recovered from covid-19, but still dealing with complications
On the 22nd of June 2020, what have been an ordinary day in the new norm as South Africa was on full Covid-19 lockdown and the world was going through a global pandemic, Nkosi Mnisi’s tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Mnisi a first year student a the Wits University in Johannesburg has documented his journey from self quarantining and the struggle of of living in isolation in this podcast series titled My Journey with Covid-19. He had to adapt to living life differently, and in isolation. Mnisi says while he has recovered from Covid-19, but the experience left permanent emotional and physical damage. He experienced medical complications from as a result of the corona virus.

Day 11 of Quarantine, recovering from covid-19 with no underlying conditions
Today Nkosi Mnisilooks at how it has been easy for him to recovery from the coronavirus pandemic while some people with commodities have had to be admitted in hospital and on ventilators. While Mnisi has no symptoms and does not need to do another test to be sure he is covid-19 free, he says he will still test after 14 days so he has a medical certificate for covid 19.
