NARRATE : The Ass & His Burdens

Hello everyone welcome to My Podcast Today i will tell you a story from Aesop's Fables, but before that i will review about a movie that i have watched before. The movie is The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. The Adventure of Tintin tells the story of a young journalist from Brussels named Tintin who is always challenged to overcome difficulties. While shopping at an outdoor market, young reporter Tintin, accompanied by his faithful dog, Snowy, buys a model of an old ship called the Unicorn. A shady character named Sakharine and later an American named Barnaby try to buy the model from him, but Tintin refuses. The lad discovers that the ship contains a clue about a hidden treasure, but before he can locate it, Tintin is kidnapped and given over to the custody of drunken Captain Haddock. And now i will tell you one of the story from Aesop's Fables. The title is The Ass & His Burdens. A Pedlar who owned an Ass one day bought a quantity of salt, and loaded up his beast with as much as he could bear. On the way home the Ass stumbled as he was crossing a stream and fell into the water. The salt got thoroughly wetted and much of it melted and drained away, so that, when he got on his legs again, the Ass found his load had become much less heavy. His master, however, drove him back to town and bought more salt, which he added to what remained in the panniers, and started out again. No sooner had they reached a stream than the Ass lay down in it, and rose, as before, with a much lighter load. But his master detected the trick, and turning back once more, bought a large number of sponges, and piled them on the back of the Ass. When they came to the stream the Ass again lay down: but this time, as the sponges soaked up large quantities of water, he found, when he got up on his legs, that he had a bigger burden to carry than ever. The moral of this story is "You may play a good card once too often". That's all for today. Thank you for listening and see you on my next podcast.

SING SONG : Alec Benjamin and Naomi Scott

Hello everyone welcome to MY Podcast! Today I'm gonna sing two songs. The First Song is Mind Is A Prison By Alec Benjamin. I don't live in California I'll inform you, that's not where I reside I'm just a tenant payin' rent inside this body and I... Got two windows And those windows, well, I call them my eyes I'm just goin' where the wind blows I don't get to decide Sometimes I think too much Yeah, I get so caught up I'm always stuck in my head I wish I could escape I tried to yesterday Took all the sheets off my bed Then I tied up my linen With five strips of ribbon I found Scaled the side of the buildin' I ran to the hills 'til they found me And they put me back in my cell All by myself Alone with my thoughts again Guess my mind is a prison And I'm never gonna get out And now lets talk about the song. In this song Alec sings about being stuck in his head with his thoughts.  In this song, Alec Benjamin is able to visualize himself inside in his head. He sees his physical body as a mere carcass for carrying the real ‘him’ inside. What makes a person who he is, is really the map of his mind. Exploring your own mind can be fun. But to see it as a prison, is quite the disaster. My experience after singing this song is that this song is very related to life. How sometimes we think too much without doing. Our minds are like imprisoning us. It's kinda sad experience to me. Feeling empty and lonely. The next song is Speechless by Naomi Scott. Here comes a wave Meant to wash me away A tide that is taking me under Swallowing sand Left with nothing to say My voice drowned out in the thunder But I won't cry And I won't start to crumble Whenever they try To shut me or cut me down I won't be silenced You can't keep me quiet Won't tremble when you try it All I know is I won't go speechless 'Cause I'll breathe When they try to suffocate me Don't you underestimate me 'Cause I know that I won't go speechless And now lets talk about the song. This song is about female empowerment. It tells the story of Princess Jasmine who is detained by the new sultan of Agrabah, Jafar. The sultan is a dictator who belittles Princess Jasmine's opinion. This time Princess Jasmine decided not to remain silent and chose to be honest about her thoughts and opinions. She would not allow her kingdom to be taken over by someone like Jafar. My experience after singing this song is that I can't stop singing. This song is very strong in terms of music, lyrics, meaning, tone of voice, singer and the story behind it. I can feel the confidence, the spirit to get up and not give up on fate. This song is very addictive and easy listening.

TELEPROMPTER : 4

Good morning, viewers. You’re watching ATV News with me, Mufidah Yumna. The first news is New species of dinosaur with ‘unusually large’ nose discovered. A new species of dinosaur with an unusually large nose has been identified by a retired general practitioner in the UK who spent lockdown rummaging through boxes of hundreds of old bones. Jeremy Lockwood, who is studying for a PhD at the University of Portsmouth, set himself the task of cataloguing every iguanodon bone discovered on the Isle of Wight. As the 64 year old from Chale, near Ventnor, Isle of Wight, sorted the bones from the collections of the Natural History Museum in London and the Dinosaur Isle Museum, he discovered the unique “bulbous” nasal bone. Dr Lockwood, who studies in the school of environment, geography and geoscience, said: “For over 100 years, we’d only seen two types of dinosaur on the Isle of Wight – the plant-eating Iguanodon bernissartensis and Mantellisaurus atherfieldensis. “I was convinced that subtle differences between bones would reveal a new species, so I set out to measure, photograph and study the anatomy of each bone. “My background is medicine, so I’ve studied anatomy and was always struck by the fact that the bones we find in humans all look exactly the same. “I’ve seen dinosaur bones that are reportedly from the same species, but I’ve been baffled as to why they would look so different. “Last year during lockdown, after four years of going through boxes and boxes of bones, I decided to reconstruct the skull of a specimen, which had been in storage since 1978, and to my astonishment I noticed the end of its nose was bulbous. “This discovery made it one of the happiest days of lockdown because it was a sign there really was something different about this particular dinosaur from the Isle of Wight.” Dr Lockwood, working with Prof Dave Martill from the University of Portsmouth and Dr Susannah Maidment from the Natural History Museum, has now named the new species Brighstoneus simmondsi, for a study published in the Journal of Systematic Palaeontology. Brighstoneus is named after the village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight, which is close to the excavation site. The latter part of the name is in honour of Keith Simmonds, an amateur collector, who was involved in finding and excavating the specimen. – PA The second news is Scientists reverse paralysis in mice, seek human trials. SAMUEL I. STUPP, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, SAYING: "Spinal cord injury has been a major challenge for science for decades.” Scientists at Northwestern University say they may have found a breakthrough treatment for reversing paralysis in humans after successfully administering a new injectable therapy in mice. “The central nervous system, which includes the brain and the spinal cord, which sends messages between your brain and the rest of your body, has very limited capacity to repair after injury. ”In a new study, the team describes an injection of “dancing molecules” to reverse paralysis in mice and repair tissues after severe spinal cord injuries. Just four weeks after the injection, the injured animals regained the ability to walk. Samuel I. Stupp leads the research. "This is probably the most important paper I have ever written. And it describes a piece of science that was truly unknown." The new breakthrough therapeutic is injected as a liquid directly into the spine. It influences the motion of molecules, in effect, making them ‘dance’, so they can more easily engage— read more in this link : https://news.yahoo.com/scientists-reverse-paralysis-mice-seek-183451672.html
