Mysteretical Presents are serial episodes where we cover one large case per season. The C Word Finale: The Last Melon

Welcome to Mysteretical Presents final episode for season one: The C Word! Amanda and Lynne have dived deep into the Institute in Basic Life Principles to figure out if it is in fact...a cult. After discussing the origins of the church, Bill Gothard, ATI, the conferences, training centers, camps and programs to diving deep into the misogynistic, purity culture ridden, "Jesus Juking", and "Quiverfull" pushing church we have come to our final conclusion! Plus, we close out by talking about who's running the IBLP now, what happened with the lawsuit, and we actually discuss the Duggars and Bate's family a little bit more. There's no intro, barely an outro, and just general conversation and conclusions in this one! So let's all finish this investigation together!

linktr.ee/mystereticalpresents

The C Word: The Birds and the Bees but I Hate it Here

In our second to last episode of the first season of Mysteretical Presents: The C Word we discuss the birds and the bees–Bill Gothard style...sorry. Yes, it's as awful as you probably suspect. Plus, you can listen to Lynne have covid, Amanda make many angry goblin sounds, and some Monty Python quotes to break the tension. We also dive into what the IBLP teaches about sex, sexual abuse and all of the victim blaming they could possibly muster. Even if the victim is a four year old child. Ugh.

linktr.ee/mystereticalpresents

The C Word: How to Remain ALERT and EXCEL at ATI in a LOG CABIN

In this weeks episode Amanda and Lynne dive deep into the ATI's training centers which offer great programs like solitary confinement, withholding food, and labor trafficking. We also discuss the IBLP's ALERT and EXCEL programs where boys spend copious amounts of money to fly airplanes and girls learn about morning routines and meal prepping. Plus! There's a surprise camp for troubled teens called the Log Cabin program that is horrible at it's best. It's definitely a trip down the IBLP rabbit hole.

linktr.ee/mystereticalpresents
