NCblue2024 Trailer

Let’s talk for a minute about North Carolina. We’re all happy we had no red wave in the 2022 election, but we sort of had one in North Carolina. We lost the Supreme Court, and we came within one seat of giving the General Assembly a Republican super majority. And we elected a senator that's to the right of Jesse Helms. There is a ton at stake in the 2024 election. The simple, unfortunate truth is that democracy itself is at stake now in every election for the foreseeable future, in North Carolina and beyond — which is a shame. But it’s the hard truth, and we want to do our part.

North Carolina should be a purplish blue state, but recent election results do not reflect that. There’s a lot of voter suppression going on here — and a lot of gerrymandering.

NCblue2024 will be a conversation for bringing out the blue. Personally, I don’t know much, but I’m excited to meet a lot of people who know a lot and are working hard to make that happen — and I look forward to asking them lots of questions and really exploring what’s possible here. If you’d like to come along , that would be awesome. Thanks for joining us.
