<p>Perhaps the most revolutionary act of all is to cultivate presence, to practice attunement, to synchronize ourselves with the cycles of life and to cherish those (often fleeting) moments of true connection. It's a small act of rebellion, or at least a renewed claim for lost freedom, against the tide of superficiality and distraction that threatens to sweep something essential away. And who knows? Perhaps, in doing so, we'll remember that power to transcend-a necessary prerequisite to the kind of freedom worth aspiring to.
