Ob Schulgarten, Softeis oder SERO - sie gehörten zu unserem Alltag. Wir sind Beide knapp vor der Wende und dem World Wide Web geboren, in einem neuen Deutschland aufgewachsen und im Westen gelandet. Wir stellen regelmäßig die Frage, wie der Osten unseren Blickwinkel auf die Welt von heute ausrichtet. Dabei schlagen wir eine Brücke von Kleinigkeiten im früheren Alltag auf das große Ganze von heute und morgen. Nicht selten wird es kurios und fördert Überraschendes zutage. „Das Wort“ ist in dieser Folge Fernbusreisen, was sofort Erinnerungen an Klassenfahrten, Schlenkis und den ganz eigenen Duft alter Busse wachruft. „Das Thema“ dreht sich um Morsleben und damit um die Frage, wo der Atommüll aus der DDR geblieben ist, wie aus einem Salzbergwerk ein Endlager wurde und warum uns das bis heute beschäftigt.
