Forsterstraße 16-17

Come with us on a walk through Forsterstraße in Berlin Kreuzberg. Together, we travel back to the 1980s to explore the often invisible history of Forsterstraße 16–17, buildings once scheduled for demolition, later occupied, renovated, and lived in. As we move through the street, we recover forgotten stories of housing struggles, everyday life, and resistance, connecting past conflicts to the present. Podcast by:

Prayers from the street to the park

Prayers from the Street to the Park is an audio protest by Tazir, capturing the sounds, images, and tensions of Falckensteinstr and Görlitzer Park in Berlin. Between the police car's sirens, and the Islamic call for prayer, and through footsteps and multiple languages, this piece explores resistance, belonging, and the quiet violence of gentrification in the city.
