<p><a href="https://ocesh.web.ox.ac.uk/people/mary-cox">Dr Mary Elisabeth Cox</a> is the William Golding Junior Research Fellow in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Brasenose College, Oxford, and a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow. <p>Kevin O'Rourke is Professor of Economics at NYU-Abu Dhabi and was previously Chichele Professor of Economic History at Oxford.
