Finale! Provenzalisches Kochen und meine englische Tante
Heute ist unsere vorerst letzte Folge und deswegen wollen wir mit euch Rosé trinken und kochen. Natürlich typisch provenzalisch. In alten Kochbüchern meiner englischen Großtante, die jahrelang ihre Winter in der Provence verbrachte und meinem Vater später ihr Haus hier vererbte finden wir das Rezept Barigoule, einer Art Artischockensuppe. Armin kocht und zwischendurch erzählt meine Mutter, wie die englische Tante damals in diese Region kam. Bei einer Nase in Grasse
Wir gehen mit euch nach Grasse, auch bekannt als Welthauptstadt des Parfums. Ungefähr 30 Parfümfabriken in und um Grasse verschicken ihre Produkte in die ganze Welt. Grasse ist auch der Handlungsort des Romans „Das Parfum“ von Patrick Süskind. Es dreht sich hier also alles ums Parfum und deswegen schauen wir uns an, wie ein Parfum hergestellt wird. Nicht in einer der großen Fabriken, sondern im kleinen, charmanten Atelier der selbstständigen Parfumeurin und Malerin Laurence Fanuel.
