《愚公移山的故事》
<p>太行，王屋，是两座著名的高山。从前有一老人，住在山下，因为他的性情有些愚笨，人家就称他做愚公。愚公的门前就是高山，阻住了他的出路，他觉得进出很不方便。他就发誓要把这两座山移到别的地方去。他和他家里的人拿了锄头、畚（běn）箕，一同去移山。邻家的小孩子也来帮助。他的另一个邻人，自以为是聪明人，人家也称他做智叟。智叟看见愚公移山，他就笑他愚笨，说道：“你的年纪这样大了，山又这样的高，你想移山，岂不是白费力气吗？”愚公道：“你哪里知道呢！我的年纪虽然这样的大，但是我死了，还有我的儿子，儿子死了，还有孙子。如此孙又生子，子又生孙，继续的工作不停；而山是不会增高的，总有一天，能把他移去！”（原出列子）<br></p>

《狐狸和乌鸦》
<p>一只乌鸦叼着一大块肉停在树上休息。树下的洞中住着一只狐狸。它刚一出洞，就看见乌鸦嘴里的大肥肉，馋的口水都流了出来。<br></p><p>狐狸假装毕恭毕敬地对乌鸦说：“乌鸦大王，您早啊！”乌鸦觉得很奇怪，心想：“我什么时候变成大王啦？”疑惑归疑惑，受到恭维的乌鸦心里还是挺受用的，因此不自觉地对狐狸点了点头。狐狸接着说：“大王，难道您还没听到消息吗？您已经在昨晚当选为鸟类的大王啦！”乌鸦刚想张嘴问个究竟，立刻意识到自己嘴里还叼着块大肥肉呢。它连忙闭紧嘴巴，轻轻摇摇头，表示不大相信。<br></p><p>狐狸又走近几步，巴结地说道：“您的翅膀如此光滑，比得上孔雀的花羽，您的胸脯简直跟老鹰一样强健，您的爪子像钢一样的坚硬。我还没听过您的声音呢。但我相信您唱起歌来一定比百灵鸟还好听。”这下，乌鸦更得意了。于是，它张开嘴想高歌一曲。可是，它还没发出一个音符，嘴里的肉就掉到地上了。<br></p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span>

《贪心的樵夫》
<p>山脚下住着一个贫穷的樵夫，他每天都要上山砍柴。<br></p><p>这天，樵夫不小心把斧头掉到水潭里了。他因为不识水性，急得大哭起来。这时，一个老神仙冒出水面问他为什么哭。樵夫把情况告诉了老神仙。老神仙微笑着说：“我帮你捞斧头吧。”一会儿，老神仙又冒出来，拿着金斧头。樵夫摇了摇头。不一会儿，他又拿出银斧头，樵夫又摇摇头。老神仙再次出现时，手里拿着正是樵夫那把铁斧头。樵夫连忙接了过来感激地说：“谢谢您，这才是我的斧头。”老神仙把金斧头和银斧头都送给了他。樵夫回家后，卖掉金斧头和银斧头，过上了幸福生活。<br></p><p>另外一个樵夫十分贪心。他听说有这种好事，便把准备好的斧头扔进潭里，然后就坐在潭边放声大哭。和上次一样，老神仙出现了。贪心的樵夫毫不犹豫地拿着金斧和银斧美滋滋地跑掉了。他边走边做美梦，结果不小心掉到深潭里，淹死了。<br></p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span>
