Podcast Overview

Do you fish in the Ocean off New Jersey and New York? Do you want to get a quick honest hourly fishing report? Do you ever wonder what the seas state and weather is before you go out? Are those party boat Captains always pissed off?

Captain Jeff’s minute briefing on saltwater fishing off Point Pleasant New Jersey posts raw, uncut, no BS, fishing reports on the ride out, halfway through the trip and a wrap up, straight from the wheelhouse. Obviously, I don’t sail every day, but when I sail I post what we plan to catch and what we did catch. I give a brief weather description including the sea state and a prediction on what to expect throughout the day. I often add a quick report what my friends caught on other boats, share a little gossip about the VHF radio chatter from other party and charter boats, and any news I hear come over the Coast Guard’s hailing and distress channel 16

Straight up square biz it is what it is!

I have been running boats out of Manasquan Inlet as a Licensed Captain since 1997. I know the embellishments slung around the docks, I know how to decipher the jargon, and I know our listeners spend a lot to go fishing. This is reel deal daily information in minutes so you don’t have to waste hours and dollars trying to build the plane while you are flying. I am following the golden rule of my favorite Podcast show Clark Howard. “Unbought and Unbossed.” Once in a while I will catch a rant or even cast one out myself. Careful if you have friends or family who are sensitive to foul language, sometimes cursing might get past my filter

Lastly, This Podcast is bare bones straight from the wheelhouse, enjoy the raw sound and uncut audio.
