HRT je u petak proslavio stotinu godina radija i 70 godina televizije, a Pomorska večer izdvojena je kao jedna od najdugovječnijih i najprepoznatljivijih brendova naše kuće. Danas se obilježava Međunarodni dan žena u pomorstvu. Tema koju je IMO odredio za 2026. glasi "Od politike do prakse: unaprjeđenje ravnopravnosti spolova za izvrsnost u pomorstvu". Pomorstvo se dugo doživljavalo kao muški svijet. Brodovi, palube, strojarnice, časničke kape, sve su to bili prostori koji su se po tradiciji prenosili s oca na sina. Danas to više nije tako jednostavno. Žene zapovijedaju brodovima, vode strojarnice, donose odluke u kompanijama, lukama i ministarstvima. Iz Pomorske škole Zadar ističu kako imaju učenice u oba programa, pomorski nautičar i tehničar za brodostrojarstvo. A na Pomorskom fakultetu u Splitu održana je i panel rasprava o ženama u pomorstvu. A mi u emisiji razgovaramo s kapetanom Jadrolinije Jovicom Matićem, koji je spasio putnike katamarana Melita. Prisjećamo se i legendarnog direktora Tankerske plovidbe Ivana Paše koji je preminuo prije deset godina. Bili smo i na svjetioniku Prišnjak u murterskom akvatoriju.
