The young prophet Jeremiah tells the Lord he cannot speak because he is only a child, and the Lord answers with His presence, touching his mouth and promising to be with him. We watch the almond branch, the first tree to wake in the land of Israel, hear Jeremiah describe God's word as a fire shut up in his bones, and glimpse the gathering of Israel, one of a city and two of a family.

The Fountain of Living Waters | Come Follow Me Sleep Meditation | Jeremiah 2
Rest tonight beside the One who never runs dry. A Come Follow Me sleep meditation for October 19–25, "Before I Formed Thee in the Belly I Knew Thee," resting in the fountain of living waters from Jeremiah 2.
Through Jeremiah, the Lord grieves that His people have traded the fountain of living waters for broken cisterns that cannot hold water. We rest beside Jeremiah's tree planted by the waters, unafraid in the year of drought, hear his quiet prayer, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed," and end at the well where the Savior offers a weary woman living water.

The One Who Needed Saving | Ark Conspiracy Ch. 39 | Come Follow Me Fiction (The Redeemer Shall Come)
Noah has always been the one who gets everyone out, until he's thirty feet down in the ice with no rope and no moves left. A Come Follow Me fiction chapter for October 12 to 18, "The Redeemer Shall Come to Zion" (Isaiah 58-66).
This week Isaiah promises that the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, and that when no one else could step in, His own arm brought salvation. The Redeemer comes to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Beneath the Arctic glacier, Noah Reyes and Rachel cling to a narrow shelf of ice above black water while the lamp dies. Noah finally says the words he has never said, and Rachel tells him where she has been praying since the supply stop.
