About Presenting Hitchcock
Gooooood evening. Alfred Hitchcock is long believed to be the Master of Suspense in film circles. His ability to craft engaging tales of espionage, murder, and debauchery - all while entrenched in the plight of the Everyman - have stood the test of time. Each month, Cory and Aaron look at a randomly drawn film of Hitch's and examine what makes it so inherently Hitchcockian. Since beginning the show in 2019, they have discussed every available film in Hitch's catalogue, and are now examining sequels, contemporaries, other Hitchcock media, and his far reaching influence over cinema.

[…] She has to clarify with him. Make sure it's safe. Yeah, that he knows who she is. And he does. And she sort of motions for a hug, but allows him to hug her, you know? So she doesn't, like, force it on him. Like, this kid's been through a lot. Like, he would have witnessed all this as a kid. And then his dad told him that... His mother was dead as well, apparently. So she sort of comes in here and in this motherly fashion doesn't want to hurt him anymore and doesn't want to push him to do anything he doesn't want to do. And I got all of that from the way she interacted with him. So I agree. It's an interesting bit of acting from Ashley Judd in this whole thing. […]
