Spirited Union: van Botanicals tot Brand – Ruben Maduro
<p>Ruben Maduro begon zijn ondernemersreis in 2015, toen hij zijn baan opzegde om zich volledig te richten op zijn droom: het creëren van een eigen rummerk. Na twee jaar experimenteren en ontwikkelen lanceerde hij in 2017 zijn eerste rumrecept, <strong>Union 55</strong>, bij bars in Amsterdam. Niet lang daarna sloot Rogier Post zich aan, en samen waagden ze zich in de wereld van ambachtelijke rum.</p><p><br /></p><p>In 2019 opende Ruben de deuren van de <strong>Spirited Union Distillery</strong> in Amsterdam, de eerste distilleerderij ter wereld die zich volledig richt op botanische rum. Hier worden traditionele rums verrijkt met natuurlijke botanicals, wat leidt tot verrassende, gelaagde smaakprofielen. De distilleerderij is niet alleen een plek voor productie en experiment, maar ook een ontmoetingsplek waar workshops en proeverijen worden georganiseerd.</p><p><br /></p><p>Spirited Union is aangesloten bij <strong>1% for the Planet</strong> en was het eerste botanische rummerk met een <strong>Bonsucro-certificering</strong>, een duidelijke uiting van Ruben’s streven naar duurzaamheid en verantwoord ondernemen.</p><p><br /></p><p>In deze eerste aflevering van seizoen twee duiken we dieper in Ruben’s verhaal, praten we over innovatie, ondernemen in de drankindustrie en wat er allemaal komt kijken bij het bouwen van een merk met impact.</p><p><br /></p><p>Veel luisterplezier en proost!</p>
