He is an honorary consultant psychiatrist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and is former president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is currently president elect of the World Psychiatric Association. PTSD and MDMA as therapy. Interview to Elliot Marseille
MDMA will be approved for therapeutic use in the United States in 2022. New psychotherapy scenarios are expected to open, with new settings (for example, the use of a bed with the patient lying down and eyes closed, under the influence of "medical" MDMA, observed and followed by a couple of therapists trained in this regard).
