Welcome to the Public Discord podcast. The discussion/entertainment podcast where you can listen along and contribute LIVE! I have often found myself listening along to my favourite podcasts, when suddenly I’d be struck with a thought or opinion that could contribute to the discussion. Of course, there is no way to interact with a pre-recorded discussion, which gave me the idea for this podcast. Public Discord will be a live discussion, where listeners are encouraged to chime in when they feel they can contribute. This will be facilitated through the podcast discord server. There is a text chat and a radio style “caller” system, where you join a queue and are called up in-turn to voice your opinions and questions. You can contribute to this podcast, LIVE, and that’s what makes Public Discord uniquely interactive. I aim to have a co-host present for each episode which, to begin with, will mainly good friends of mine, to discuss everything and anything. Plus, because of the interactive nature of the podcast, you are all welcome to suggest topics you would like to discuss. The podcast format is fluid, but the idea is to have a discussion between myself and my co-host about the topic of the day, with periodic breaks for answering text chat questions and taking live calls from you, our listeners.
